| void eVision::EMertensMergerParameters::SetContrastWeight |
( |

Sets the contrast weight parameter. The contrast weight parameter modifies the importance of the contrast measure that is computed by the Mertens algorithm. The contrast value is obtained by with Laplacian filter to the grayscale version of each image, and take the absolute value of the filter response. This yields a simple indicator that is called contrast. Edges and textures tends to have a high contrast value.

◆ SetExposureWeight()
| void eVision::EMertensMergerParameters::SetExposureWeight |
( |
float | exposureWeight | ) |
|
Sets the exposure weight parameter. The exposure weight parameter modifies the importance of the saturation measure that is computed by the Mertens algorithm. The raw intensities within a channel reveals how well a pixel is exposed. The exposure value (or well-exposedness in the original paper) aims to keep intensities that are not near zero (under-exposed) or one (over-exposed). Thus, the exposure value computed by the Mertens algorithm is higher when pixel values are near 0.5.

◆ SetSaturationWeight()
| void eVision::EMertensMergerParameters::SetSaturationWeight |
( |
float | saturationWeight | ) |
|
Sets the saturation weight parameter. The saturation weight parameter modifies the importance of the saturation measure that is computed by the Mertens algorithm. An image that undergoes a longer exposure becomes desaturated and is eventually clipped. Saturated colors are desirable in certain contexts as they make the image look vivid.
